Kaieteur Sports – Essequibo Softball Cricket League 10-week Over-40 and Over-50 T20 Tournaments are set to commence on April 19.
Interested teams are asked to contact (628-8030) Chairman of the League Wakeel Layne for further information and registration.
According to Layne, the first ten teams will be accepted.
Layne stated that there will be no registration fee.
The winning team in each category will take home $60,000 and a trophy with more attractive prizes at stake.
Meanwhile, Layne took the opportunity to express his heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors for their continued generosity.
Matches to be played on the Coast at various venues. Both divisions will play simultaneously.
Since the formation of the League in 2021, the League hosted a number of Masters competitions with Caribbean Cricket Club being the reigning champions.
