Kaieteur Sports – Cricket West Indies (CWI) released the full fixture ahead of next Tuesday’s start to the 2026 Women’s Blaze T20 Championships hosted in St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the Arnos Vale Ground.
Defending champs Guyana have been hard at work over the past few days, putting in tons of training and practice as they look to get themselves in tip-top shape, ahead of one of the tougher challenges yet; fending off a host of other highly-talented Caribbean teams as they look to keep their title intact.
With a star-studded squad in the wings, Guyana will be keen on utilizing the remaining days at home before they wing out to St. Vincent where they will be looking to get quickly acclimatized ahead of their first match and the first of the tournament; versus Windward Islands.
The basis of this year’s tourney will see teams featuring in the 6 round triple-header, with games being played from 9:30h, 14:30h and 19:00h respectively throughout each designated day of action.
Round 1 which bowls off on Tuesday January 13th, will see Guyana and the Windwards locking horns from 9:30h, essentially opening this season’s activities.
The second match features Jamaica and Leeward Island commencing their battle from 14:30h; with Trinidad & Tobago squaring off against the Bajans in the final match of the opening round; under lights from 19:00h.
Teams will then have a day off with Round 2 restarting on January 15, to which all roads lead to January 23rd, which is designated as the 6th and final round of the Blaze T20 competition; which will be followed shortly after with the 2026 Women’s Super50 Cup.
