Kaieteur Sports- Despite the pouring rain in Region 3, that did not prevent the schools from showing up in their numbers to compete in the MCYS NSC Sports Officer A. Munroe organised 10th Janet & Cheddi Jagan memorial Windball Cricket championship at the Track & Field Compound tarmac.

In the Cheddi Jagan division (Boys):
Zeeburg secondary batted first after winning the toss and made 53 off their five overs.
De Willem Secondary replied with 51-3.
Camille’s Academy Region 3 batted first and scored 42-9, Randolph Marslowe, Devindra Singh, Nickeal De Camp & Vadish Rambosan each picked up 2 wickets.
Leonora Secondary replied with 43-1, D. Singh came back with the bat to score 32.
West Demerara Secondary 78-2, Abdul Ahmad 40, Jeremiah Garnett 24.
Uitvlugt Secondary in reply were restricted to 41-5. Samuel Persaud took 3 wkts for 2 runs bowling for West Demerara Sec.
Janet Jagan Girls division:
De Willem Sec. 53-3, Princess Osborn 25.
Leonora Sec. 41-2 in reply.
Zeeburg Sec. 70-0 Sarah Raymond 46.
Camille’s Academy 59-4.
