Guyanese Keon Roberts and Premchand Sookdeo are set to turn out for Pickwick Cricket Club in the Barbados Cricket Association Division 1 competition.
The duo departed Guyana yesterday.
Roberts started playing at the Golden Grove Cricket Club before moving to Zeelugt’s Cricket Club, East Bank Essequibo and then to the University of Guyana Trojans team. He is also a member of the Rising Stars Cricket Club where he has been playing for the past six years.
Roberts hosted his own cricket competition in August of 2018. He is pleased to be given a chance to ply his trade in Barbados.
Sookdeo, a right handed opening batsman and useful off-spinner, hails from the village of Clonbrook located on the East coast of Demerara. He is a member of the GNIC CC and also played for Clonbrook and East Coast Demerara.
