(Kaieteur News) – BOSAI’s day-shift workers were left stranded at work on Friday after heavy rain washed away the access road to the company’s mines along with a 4×4 pick-up that was heading to the mines in Linden, Region Ten.

The main access road to BOSAI in Region 10 washed away due to heavy rainfall on Friday. A vehicle is seen in the opening of where the road was.
The situation occurred Friday afternoon just before workers finished work.
The occupants of the vehicle who were identified as a general foreman and foreman, escaped without injuries.
However, the company’s day staff was left stranded at work because the road was impassable. Similarly, the night workers were unable to get to work.
Up to press time, workers were still stuck as technicians tried to find a temporary solution.
