The University of Guyana (UG) Girls won the National Sports Commission (NSC), Forbes Burnham Foundation (FBF), AL Sport & Tour Promotions “Hit It For 50” Schools Windball Cricket tournament organised by Sports Officer A. Munroe.

The University of Guyana girls won the round-robin tournament winning all five matches.
In their final game, UG batted first and scored 146-0, with Keisha Fraser hitting 87 (6s-10), with MVP Akaze Thompson 42.
Camille’s Academy their turn in the middle were restricted to 105-1, Shoalin Raghoo scoring 52 and Tamika Simon 30.
Cummings Lodge Secondary made 74-2, Erica Mentore 38; Camille’s Academy replied with 76-2, Tamika Simon 34.
In the Boys segment – The New Central High rattled up 89-4, Deonarine Tiwari 32; Ezekiel Wilson took 3-14 as The Business School responded with 92-0, Jeffrey Blair 62 to win.
The New Central High made 91-1, Deonarine Tiwari 60; Cummings Lodge Secondary replied with 95-2, Josh Alves 58 to win.
Meanwhile, the tournament is set to resume on Wednesday, March 4, with the Knock-out stage.
