Both teams shared possession almost equally and created a number of chances but failed to finish as their defence stood firm.
However, a goalkeeping blunder handed Moruca the lead 10 minutes into the second half, and this proved to be the deciding factor in a game that was keenly contested. Kako Cobra SC goal-keeper Danley Roland failed to gather the ball cleanly which was lobbed over the defence and Rodrigues capitalised nicely to give his team a well-deserved lead.

Kamarang continued to push forward, but Paiwomak Warriors kept up with the pace and Jacklyn Williams drew them level in the 70th minute with a free kick from just outside the area.
Five minutes later Satiaka Sam handed Paiwomak Warriors the lead when she slotted home from inside the box following a build-up. Kamarang pressed forward in search of an equaliser, but Paiwomak Warriors defended well to give their fans much to cheer about.
