This evening, all roads will lead to the Mecca of football in the city, Georgetown Football Club (GFC), as the Guyana Football Federation’s (GFF) Elite League continues with an Easter Sunday double-header that kicks off from 18:00hrs.
In the first match, second placed Western Tigers will match skills with Victoria Kings who have in their ranks the top scorer, Aubrey Gibson. Tigers are behind defending Champions, Guyana Defence Force (GDF) on goal difference but the Ruimveldt based team has played one less game.
The feature game will surely excite fans as the reigning champions GDF FC, who are currently topping the league, will do battle with third place Fruta Conquerors.
Admission to the venue is $500, kids under 12 and females are free.
