will be in action again today with Jessica Stephenson aiming to win her second gold medal after topping the field in the 200m Breaststroke on the opening day, Thursday.
Yesterday, day 2, Stephenson had a rest and cheered on her teammate Britany van Lange who competed in the 200m Freestyle. van Lange entered the event seeded 13th with a time of 2:15.88.
While she finished in 13th place, as she started, her time was a disappointing 2:19.94. Today, both swimmers will be in action; Stephenson in the 50m Breaststroke, followed by van Lange in the 100m Freestyle.
Stephenson is seeded 2nd in her event with a time of 34.45 while van Lange is seeded 15th with 1:01.39.
