The Bannas Foundation has organized an Under-16 football competition in memory of former football executive Tommy Orderson who died two years ago.
The first match gets underway at 09:00hrs this morning at the Plaisance Community Centre Ground.
Participating teams will compete for trophies donated by several corporate entities. Already registered for the competition are BV, Thomas United, Santos and Plaisance.
Orderson died under tragic circumstances in 2006 when he was shot. The former banking executive served as an executive of the then Georgetown Football League and was attached to several Clubs.
