Kaieteur Sports – Guyana continued their losing streak, this time at the hands of Jamaica who eased themselves to a 21-run win as part of yesterday’s triple-header.
At Coolidge, Sashane Ricketts (22) led Jamaica’s innings which ended on 103 all out in the 20th over, after Captain, spinner Danielle Manns (2-11), Christina Jackson (2-13) and Shenese Thomas (2-14) had good returns.
However, their chase was curtailed by Jamaica’s trio in Neveah Webley (3-19), Adanya Baugh (2-16) and Ricketts (2-8) who equally matched the bowling efforts of Guyana to help keep them to 82 all out in the 18th over, with Akeela Stephen (18) the top scorer.
Meanwhile, Trinidad and Tobago beat Windward Islands by 10 wickets at Liberta Sports Club while Barbados defeated the Leeward Islands by 90 runs over at Coolidge.
