Canada-based Guyanese Ramkissoon slams unbeaten 170 for Better-Hope
Kaieteur Sports – Canada-based Guyanese versatile all-rounder Sunil “Skalachie” Ramkissoon slammed a belligerent, unbeaten 170 spurring Better-Hope to a massive, 141-run win over GT Bannas last Sunday when action continued in the 2026 Ontario Masters Softball Cricket Clubs (OMSCC) Over-40, T20 tournament.
Ramkissoon, the right-hander, clobbered 24 effortless sixes during his 68-ball historic knock as Better-Hope piled up a gigantic 238-5 at the expiration of the 20-overs at St. Bedes venue in Scarborough.

GT Banas, in reply, fell for 97 in the 16th over with Ramkissoon also headlining the dominant bowling performance by nabbing 3-6 from 2.5 overs.
Ramkissoon shared a prolific and entertaining, 156-run, 4th-wicket stand with Yohandlall Sukhlall, who made 18.
Better-Hope, after winning the toss and elected to bat first, struggled initially to 36-2 before Ramkissoon began his onslaught having also struck three fours batting at number 4.
Bob Chung grabbed two wickets for 36 runs from his maximum three overs delivering for GT Banas.
When GT Banas batted, Mark John scored a top-score of 24 and 14 from skipper Mark Khan having stifled against their opposing formidable, bowling lineup.
Ramkissoon, who Captained Better-Hope, was supported by Rakesh Ramoutar with 3-11 (4) and Shameer Lattif (2-13).
Notably, this is Ramkissoon’s highest soft-ball score after bypassing his previous career-best of 114. For this year’s season, he ended with the most runs (364) and 12 wickets.
Meanwhile, the six-team competition continues on Sunday with its semi-final Showdown. Better-Hope will clash with Ramblers while Carr Tec and Canadian Legends do battle.
The two eliminating teams are: Bacchus Ruff Ryders and GT Banas. The grand finale is slated for August 23rd.
