Kaieteur Sports – A collective effort from the Malteenoes Warriors helped them ease to a 90-run win over the Police All Stars Academy when action continued in the 2026 Sherwin Williams T20 Cup.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, MSC Warriors did an exceptional job in getting to 219-9 by the end of their 20 overs.
A string of scores, led by Jonte Thomas who cracked seven fours and a handful of sixes in his 79 helped take the Warriors well past 200 runs.
Help came from Colis Rimple who hit 32 (3×4) (2×6) as well as Adrian Hinds 32 (3×6) (2×4), which added to the big total.
Police bowling saw Grant Stuart picking up 3-29 from his 4 overs with support from the veteran Kelvin Leitch (2-24).
Unfortunately, the lawmen could only muster 129-9 after 20 overs ended as P. Singh scored 34 with no other batsman being able to negate the class of seamer Delon Dalrymple, who snared 4-17 to complete a magnificent spell.
