Kaieteur Sports – Trophy Stall, under the leadership of the well-known sports enthusiast Ramesh Sunich—a nominee for the Corporate Sponsor Award at the National Sports Commission’s upcoming awards ceremony on November 8—has proudly renewed its partnership with the 2025 BIG MAN CRICKET (BMC) Over-40s T20 Tournament.

Proprietor of Trophy Stall, Ramesh Sunich (right), makes a presentation to the organisers of Big Man Cricket.
Now in full swing, the tournament has been blessed with excellent weather since its start five weeks ago, featuring 14 teams from across Guyana.
The teams were divided into two pools for the preliminary round-robin phase, setting the stage for intense and entertaining cricket. The top eight sides advanced to the quarterfinals, which were played yesterday at various venues across Berbice and Demerara.
In a day packed with thrilling encounters, the North Soesdyke Masters defeated Enterprise Star Sports, while Everest Masters outplayed Jai Hind Jaguars.
The Vintage Strikers edged past Blairmont Hunters by just two runs in a nail-biting finish, and the Albion Masters sealed victory against the West Bank Warriors to book their semifinal spot.
The semifinals and finals will bring together these top-performing teams, with match dates to be announced soon. Organizers have promised high-quality cricket and fan engagement, including live coverage with commentary for the championship matches.
Since the inception of the BMC tournament in 2020/2021, Trophy Stall has been a steadfast supporter, providing all trophies and awards for each edition.
This year, accolades will be presented for Champion Team, Runner-Up, Man of the Match (Final), Player of the Series, and special awards recognizing players who achieve centuries during the competition.
Sunich expressed his delight at continuing Trophy Stall’s association with the tournament, emphasizing his company’s long-standing commitment to rewarding excellence and promoting veteran cricket in Guyana.
The partnership between Trophy Stall and BIG MAN CRICKET continues to strengthen the tournament’s prestige and highlight the invaluable contribution of seasoned players who keep the spirit of the game alive.
