Butcher Big Boyz receiving the winner’s cheque after nervy win against Suicide Squad in the National 8-Ball Championship final.
Kaieteur Sports – The atmosphere was electric at Butcher’s Chill Spot and Bar over the weekend as the El Dorado Rum National 8-Ball Team’s Championship concluded in thrilling fashion. In a fiercely contested final, Butcher Big Boyz held their nerve to defeat the formidable Suicide Squad, claiming the coveted championship trophy and cash prize.
The grand finale was a memorable showcase of talent and passion, drawing a crowd of enthusiastic pool lovers who witnessed a string of high-calibre matchups that underscored both the skill of the competitors and the camaraderie that defines the cue sports community.
In the title clash, both finalists displayed exceptional talent, composure, and determination. However, it was the Butcher Big Boyz who ultimately prevailed, their expert teamwork and tactical gameplay proving too much for their opponents. The victory solidified their standing as one of the premier 8-ball teams in the country.
The semi-finals also delivered intense action, with Team Predators and Chief Pool Club battling hard to secure third place. Both teams showcased impressive resilience and finesse, earning admiration and respect from fans and fellow competitors alike.
During the presentation ceremony, El Dorado Brand Executive Raveena Mangal remarked, “It’s been wonderful to see the camaraderie, good sportsmanship, and community spirit throughout the tournament—values that El Dorado is proud to support.
