The Guyana Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association (GCU&SA) will hold a training Course on the Laws of Cricket from June 18, 2019 and every Tuesday and Thursday for two months.
Classes will be held from 17:00hrs each day at the DCC Pavilion and at the conclusion of these sessions an examination will be administered with Certificates being presented to the successful candidates.
Trainers will include International Umpire Nigel Duguid and in addition to those interested in a career in Umpiring, Cricketers, Administrators, Coaches, Media Personnel and Cricket enthusiasts are also invited to attend.
Registration fee is $1,000 and interested persons can make contact with GCU&SA President Arligh Rutherford on 622-6969, Kelvin Morris 664-5657 or Stephon Josiah on 645-2596.
