Banks DIH Ltd announces sponsorship of GSL

– Iconic XM Rum Brand to activate at Providence, July 23 – August 1

Kaieteur Sports – Banks DIH Limited, one of Guyana’s foremost manufacturers and a cornerstone of the nation’s commercial landscape for over 70 years, yesterday announced its role as a major sponsor of the ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League (GSL) 2026.

The tournament runs from July 23 to August 1 at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence, and features five of the world’s elite T20 franchise teams competing for a US$1 million prize pool.

Now in its third edition, the GSL has firmly established itself on the global T20 calendar. The 2026 tournament features five elite franchises: the Guyana Amazon Warriors (Caribbean Premier League), Lahore Qalandars (Pakistan Super League), Desert Vipers (International League T20), Perth Scorchers XI (Big Bash League), and the San Francisco Unicorns (Major League Cricket) the first Major League Cricket side to compete on the global stage.

Defending champions, the Guyana Amazon Warriors, will look to retain the trophy before a home crowd at Providence.
