Fisherman Masters will be hosting a 15-over softball tournament tomorrow at Malteenoes Sports Club, starting at 09:30hrs.
Savage, HS Masters, Regal Masters and Wellman Masters will battle for supremacy; the two semi finals will be played simultaneously followed by the final.
Fisherman Masters have gained the backing of Chand’s Printing Service for the staging of the competition.
Chand’s Printing has donated the trophies for the competition and their representative Ganesh Persaud said they are happy to lend support, especially since the team will be going on their first overseas trip. He wished them well while Fisherman Masters representative Uma Lam expressed gratitude to the sponsors. She is urging the fans to support the venture and informed that food and drinks will be on sale.
The team will also be drawing their raffle which is being used to help raise funds for their participation in the upcoming New York Softball Cricket League tournament.
