The Upper Demerara Football Association (UDFA) sixth annual GT Beer Championship will continue tonight with two more matches at the Mackenzie Sports Club ground. Net Rockers, led by
the dependable Denzil Pryce upfront will face Blueberry Hill with key player Royston Fraser leading them in the first match from 19:00hrs.
The feature match brings together Topp XX and Winners Connection from 21:00hrs. After disposing of Silver Shattas 4-0 in their opening game, Net Rockers, the second ranked club in Linden can seal their semifinal spot with a win over the lowly ranked Blueberry Hill which went down to Shattas 2-1.
Topp XX, led by Ryan Noel will need to beat the higher ranked Winners Connection after they ended the hopes of the Amelia’s Ward Panthers, getting past them 2-1 lo
ss and now take the challenge to Winners Connection which defeated the Panthers also via a 2-1 margin with the returning Marmalaque Davidson in their lineup.
With both, Topp XX and Winners Connection taking full points from their last matches, tonight’s clash is also a crucial encounter.
