The Lusignan Open is scheduled for August 4-5, next and permits any player with a verified handicap to participate. Non-members (except for Lusignan residents and caddies will pay greens fees in addition to tournament fees).
It is the first look at the talented players who are expected to compete in the Guyana Open set for November 3-4, 2018. Following is the Calendar of Events:
– Registration completed by 4 pm August 2. Registration fee is $7,000.
– Confirmed registrants will join for a cocktail/media event at the clubhouse on Friday August 3 at 6 pm. Draw will be announced.
– Practice rounds will be played on Friday.
– Play commences at 12:30 pm on Saturday and 10 am on Sunday.
– Lunch and snacks will be provided along with cold beverages on the course during play.
– Awards ceremony will commence at 4 pm on Sunday.
– Prizes for Best Gross Overall places 1-3 and Best Net in all three flights for places 1-3
– There will be prizes for longest drive and nearest to the pin on Day 2 which will be showcased at the conclusion of the round (all players will participate in front of the crowds on Tee box #1 for the Long drive title down fairway #1 and then hit to the #9 green from #1 Tee box for nearest to the Pin)
– Barbecue will be available for pick-up on Sunday from 12 pm and each ticket is eligible to win one of over $200,000 in prizes.
There are 22 companies who will be a part of the Lusignan Open and will be on hand to promote their products and services. Lots of prizes will be given away to winners and spectators as a fun filled weekend is guaranteed.
