(Kaieteur News) – The Global Super League (GSL) has announced its complete roster of commercial partners for the 2026 season, headlined by ExxonMobil Guyana as Title Sponsor.

The tournament will continue to be known as the ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League for the upcoming season, reflecting the strong, ongoing partnership between the league and one of Guyana’s most prominent energy companies.

The 2026 season also welcomes an expanded roster of Premier and Official Partners, underscoring the league’s growing commercial appeal and its position as a marquee sporting property in Guyana and the wider Caribbean.

2026 Commercial Partners

Title Sponsor: ExxonMobil Guyana takes on the title sponsorship for the 2026 season, lending its name to the tournament as the ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League. The partnership reflects ExxonMobil Guyana’s continued investment in local sport and community engagement.

The ‘SUPER WE’ Community Initiatives

Beyond the boundary, the GSL is deeply committed to community building, youth empowerment, and capacity development through its SUPER WE initiatives:

ENet Talent Search: Via a publicly run competition, Guyanese were given the opportunity to enter the ‘Face of GSL’ and ‘Voice of GSL’ activations. This afforded two locals the chance to work alongside the television and radio broadcast teams during the tournament. Melissa King emerged as the ‘Face of GSL’ and Delwin Neblett won the ‘Voice of GSL’, each copping G$500,000.
ExxonMobil Guyana Super Host: Under its ‘Bring Da Vibe’ tagline, ExxonMobil went in search of two ‘Super Hosts’, affording them the opportunity to work on the in-stadium PA system alongside Cricket Anchor Lakanand Singh on Match Days. Rhonda Maxius and Shemar Grey emerged victorious.
Laparkan/Canon Photography Scholarship: Laparkan, as the Authorised Distributor of Canon in Guyana, presented a brand-new camera for an emerging Guyanese photographer to use during the tournament, working alongside the league’s official photographer Ash Allen on Match Days. From several impressive submissions, Afsaana Azimullah was selected as the winner.
Elite Junior Cricketers Clinic: Several youth cricketers attached to clubs falling under the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) were given the incredible opportunity to learn directly from the players and coaches of the international teams competing in the league during a specialised camp at the National Stadium.
Deakin University Sports Management Workshop: As part of local capacity building, Deakin University of Australia will conduct a two-day Sports Management workshop on July 30-31, targeting local athletes, coaches, administrators, and students. The Government of Guyana is collaborating with Deakin University and the GSL to stage this important educational forum.
Schools & Orphanage Initiative: Linked directly through our Title Sponsor, ExxonMobil, this initiative ties into the ‘Future Warriors’ tournament, which unearths the next generation of cricketing talent. As part of this programme, numerous match tickets are distributed to competing schools. Furthermore, the GSL has invited children from various public and private homes and orphanages to experience the live matches.
Women’s Sport Celebration: In a push to celebrate female athletes, the GSL is proudly inviting women from all sports disciplines operating under the National Sports Commission (NSC) to attend the matches as special guests, honouring their dedication to Guyanese sports.
