Inter-Club Softball Cricket and Volleyball competitions fixed for Sunday – Grand raffle to be drawn today
All is set for the Kendall’s Union Sports Club (KUSC) grand one day volleyball and softball cricket competitions. The competitions, which were earlier postponed, are now slated for this Sunday at the KUSC Ground at No.19 Village, East Coast, Berbice.
The events which are being sponsored by the Guyana Beverage Company are being done in collaboration with the Club in an effort to raise funds to undertake a number of community projects.
The volleyball competition will be for first division clubs in Berbice, while the softball competition will be 5 overs a side tournament.
The top volleyball and softball team from throughout Berbice are expected to compete for Cash and Trophies among other incentives. Games start at 9:00 hrs.
Meanwhile, the grand raffle will be drawn today at the club venue. A number of attractive prizes are up for grabs. Teams can make contact with the club on the following numbers 645-1205 or 658-0751 for details.
