Raja Pooran slams 106* for Essequibo Coast Cricket Club in OSCL T20
Kaieteur Sports – Former Guyana youth player Raja Pooran struck a pugnacious, unbeaten 106 to inspire Essequibo Coast Cricket Club to a comprehensive, 10-wicket win against Expendables in the continuation of the 2026 Ontario Softball Cricket League (OSCL) T20 competition.
Playing at Littles ground last Sunday, the right-handed Pooran clobbered 12 sixes and six fours during his 26-ball display as Essequibo Coast Cricket Club reached 160 with 60 balls to spare.

Expendables had earlier tallied up 159-7 at the expiration of the 20-overs.
Pooran, who represented West Indies Over-40 Masters in Pakistan earlier this year, also shared an enterprising, 160-run opening stand with Amit Arjune who contributed 41 not out.
In Expendables’ innings, Roop Latchman hit a top-score of 41 while Alvin Kistnasami and Ganesh Budram chipped in with 31 and 24 respectively.
Desmond Ram grabbed 2-32 from his maximum four overs while Pooran proved his all-round capability by snapping up 1-8 in his 4 overs as well.
The competition continues on Sunday.
