The grand final of the Linden Amateur Basketball Association/Malta Supreme Open ‘March Madness’ competition would be contested tomorrow between winning semi finalists, the top ranked Victory Valley Royals and Half Mile Bulls.
Game time will commence at 18:30hrs at the Mackenzie Sports Club Hard Court with the third place match featuring Amelia’s Ward Jets and Retrieve Raiders to be followed by the championship match.
In last Saturday’s semis, Royals trounced Jets 60-47 while Bulls bullied their way past Raiders, 68-50. Bulls were led by Vibery Benjamin and Terron Welch with 13 points apiece, Jamar Bethune had 10.
In a losing cause, Raiders’ best contributors were Omally Sampson with the game high 16 points, Deron Montrose tipped in 11. Royals’ win was shaped by Harold Adams and Marlon Pollydore who poured in 17 each.
For the losers, Joel Webster tipped in the game high 25 points and his brother Allister, 11.
