2018 Milo Schools’ under-18 football tournament…Knockout fixtures decided, begins this weekend with six round-of-16 matches

The knockout, round-of-16 stage for the Milo/Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) schools’ under-18 football tournament kicks off this weekend with action from today at the Ministry of Education (MOE) ground on CARIFESTA Avenue from 13:00hrs.
Today’s play will feature three matches, in the first game, Annandale will battle Uitvlugt Secondary, while Friendship will match skills with Sir Leon Lessons in the second knockout at 14:50hrs followed by the final match at 16:30hrs between Masters Academy and The Bishops’ High School.
The winning school team of this tournament which is being played under the theme “There is no excuse for violence” will take home $500,000, the runner up $300,000, third place $200,000 and fourth place $100,000, which will all go towards a school project.
