When the Guyana Sports Shooting Federation / COMPUSERV of Plantain Walk, Vreed-en-Hoop, West Demerara sponsored Steel Challenge 3-stage competition came to an end on Sunday afternoon last at the Timehri Rifle Range, Yarrowkabra, Linden Soesdyke Highway, emerging as the top shots in the Limited and Production categories were Ryan McKinnon and Andrew Phang.

Limited and Production winners stooping right (Ryan McKinnon) and left Andrew Phang, pose with the other shooters who placed in the top five. Romesh Latchana is 2nd right.
McKinnon who has dominated Steel Challenge competitions from its inception seems like he would be enjoying such status for a long time with another commanding shoot.
He set himself apart in the Smoke and Hold, Showdown and Roundabout Stages which saw each competitor shooting five strings at each stage with the best four scores at each being calculated to determine the best shooters.
McKinnon’s overall total was 57.08 which saw him taking home the winner’s trophy ahead of Vidushi Persaud-McKinnon 67.68, Pravesh Harry 74.57, Romesh Latchana 79.08 and Shawn Smith 83.09. The 4th and 5th place attracted medals while the top three were rewarded with trophies.
