The Guyana Cricket Umpires Council (GCUC) has extended congratulations to the local umpires who were successful at the recent West Indies Cricket Umpires Association (WICUA) oral and practical exam.
The council is also urging the umpires to strive for greater heights. Essequibian Anwar Baksh grained 91% to emerge as the leading Guyanese followed by Ryan Banwarie with 90. The other successful candidates are Chaitnarine Persaud, Deon Feassal, Leyland Liverpool and Shameer Hussein.
