Domino fever hits August Beverage Sports Bar today
August Beverage Sports Bar is the place to be today when in collaboration with Lyall Gittens of Untouchable Boss they host a Dominoes Competition with over $350,000 in prize money up for grabs.
Gittens, who spoke with Kaieteur Sport recently, said that teams from all across the country have already confirmed participation in the big one-day event.
According to the co-organiser, teams from the West Demerara, East Coast Demerara from as far as Mahaica, Ann’s Grove, Buxton, Plaisance, East Bank Demerara and Georgetown will battle it out for a first prize of $160,000, while the runner-up team will take home $100,000, 3rd place $60,000 and 4th place $15,000 along with trophies.
The Most Valuable player will receive $3,000 and entrance fee per team is $10,000 with the first fifteen registered teams to benefit from free gifts.
Blue Flame Sound System will be present during the day and BBQ will also be on sale.
Double six time is 13:00 hrs.
