Four teams collide in Softball cricket tomorrow night at GYO ground

The Floodlight Squad and their lighting equipment will be moving to the Gandhi Youth Organisation Cricket Ground on Woolford Avenue tomorrow evening as they continue their fundraising activities, this time for the GYO Cricket Club.
The first match starts at 5:30pm when the Floodlights XI take on Industry Super Kings and immediately after this match, Trophy Stall Masters, who are a finalist for the nationwide Wellman Masters Cup, will clash with a GUYSUCO XI.
The winner of these two matches will collide in the final, all happening on the same night.
Admission is free and there will be lots of food and drinks on sale, backed by popular stereo sounds.
Several popular softball players including Danny Mohanram, Mohamed Rafeek, Ryan Singh, Colin Greaves, Bedi Ramjewan, David Harper, Doodie Sukhram, Ramchand Ragbeer, Jailall Deodass, Maxim Mangra, Rohan Boojraj and Patrick Khan will be in action as the Guyana Floodlight Association begins their selection process for its team to play in the Florida Cup 2010 in Fort Lauderdale, USA.
Trophies for these matches are sponsored by Rice Lab, Jagroop’s Electrical, South American Lumber and Anil Manikchand.
