Kaieteur Sports – By the close of day three, defending junior CASA champions Guyana had made a powerful statement in the title conversation, walking away with seven individual medals on Sunday at this year’s Championship in Tortola, BVI.

Kaylee Lowe was in scintillating form, mixing cheeky returns with clever pacing to claim her second Caribbean title against clubmate Emily Fung-a-Fat.

With only one gold medal on offer, Lowe found the extra drive to push Fung-a-Fat to the absolute limit, prevailing in a fifth-game decider to be crowned the 2026 Girls’ U17 champion. Fung-a-Fat finished with silver, giving Guyana a clean sweep of the top two spots in the division.

Another gold followed soon after, with Alexis Arjoon putting in a dominant display against Danielle Benn in the Girls’ U11 final to take the division title.

Guyana’s third gold of the competition came courtesy of Tehani Munroe, who defeated Zoey McDonald in the Girls’ U13 final. The win capped a strong campaign for Munroe, who returned to the podium after a solid showing at last year’s event to go one better this time around.

The Bulkan brothers deliver a family-double, as the remaining two medals came from Egan and Ethan Bulkan, who stormed to silver and bronze respectively in the Boys’ U15 division. Ethan got the better of Barbadian Ethan Cyrus to secure bronze, while older brother Egan capped an exceptional showing for the Guyanese by defeating home favourite Jakob Noblett in the silver-medal matchup. Recording Guyana’s seventh medal of the day.

A possible eighth gold medal hung in balance during the afternoon session non Sunday. Guyana with a eighth gold medal in sight, Shiloh Asregado met Jaydon Williams later in the day for the Boys’ U19 title.
