2026 MOE/Beharry U19 School’s T20 Cricket tournament: Teams aiming for contender spots as crunch stages loom

Kaieteur Sports – Following a few exciting rounds of Ministry of Education/Beharry T20 School’s Under-19 cricket, action heats up this coming weekend as teams look to book their spots in the respective Zone finals.

Last weekend’s action saw a number of top performances from a few of the country’s elite U19 cricketers, who kept their respective school teams in the hunt for the final zonal spots.

Action in the Beharry School’s Under-19 T20 competition continues to gather momentum as teams enter the deep stages.

With competition increasing, action shifts this coming weekend to a number of venues across the country where teams will look to make their final push as key players will be looking to continue their form.

Zone 1 at Joe Jagmohan Ground

Semi-Finals 1:

Santa Rosa Secondary vs. Charity Secondary June 28th at 9:30h

Semi-Finals 2:

Abram Zuil vs. Aurora Secondary June 28th 13:30h

Semi 2:

West Demerara Secondary vs. West Minister Secondary June 26th 13:00h

Final:

Essequibo Islands Secondary vs Winner of Semi 2 June 28th 13:30h

Zone 3 East Bank Demerara/Upper Demerara at Uitvlugt Ground

Semi-final 1:

Diamond Secondary vs. Coven Garden from 8:00h

Semi-final 2:

Yarrakabra vs. Camille’s Academy from 11:00h

Finals:

Winner of sem1 vs Winner of semi 2 June 28th 2026 from 9:30h

Zone 5 North Georgetown at Uitvlugt

Chase’s Academy vs New Campbellville June 27 from 14:00h
