Kaieteur Sports – The Guyana Golf Association (GGA) is pleased to recognize the continued support of Regal Stationery and its owner, Anil Hardyal, along with Orlando-based Guyanese entrepreneur Kumar Ramjas, for their ongoing contributions to the development of golf and youth sports in Guyana.
Hardyal, who is also the driving force behind the highly successful Regal All Stars Cricket Club, has joined forces with Ramjas, the Guyana Golf Association, Nexgen Golf Academy, and Westside Golf Course to strengthen the relationship between two of Guyana’s most popular sporting disciplines—cricket and golf.
For several years, Regal Stationery has played an important role in supporting the growth and development of golf in Guyana. In return, the GGA has provided ground maintenance services and other support initiatives that have benefited both organizations.

Regal’s Kumar Ramjas, Anil Hardyal and Shabiela Hashim, threw their support behind the GGA golf programme.
As participation and demand for both sports continue to increase, Hardyal and Ramjas have once again stepped forward to assist the GGA through the acquisition of essential maintenance machinery thousands of golf balls which will be used to expand youth golf development programmes across the country, providing greater access to equipment and quality training opportunities for young players.
President of the Guyana Golf Association, Aleem Hussain, expressed his gratitude for the continued support.
“Anil Hardyal and Kumar Ramjas have gone above and beyond in helping us ensure that thousands of young players have access to equipment, golf balls, and well-maintained facilities where they can enjoy both golf and cricket.
Their generosity will be extremely valuable as we prepare for the upcoming National Junior Open Golf Championship, which will be held at Westside Golf Course on July 3rd.
This event provides all players under the age of 18 with an opportunity to compete at no cost and experience organized competitive golf at the national level.”
The support comes at a critical time as the GGA continues its nationwide youth development programme, which aims to introduce thousands of young Guyanese to the game of golf while promoting sportsmanship, discipline, integrity, and healthy lifestyles.
Meanwhile, the Regal All Stars Cricket Club is preparing to travel to New York in the coming weeks, where they will once again compete for annual international softball cricket bragging rights against some of the best teams in the diaspora community.
