Kaieteur Sports – National Sports Commission Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sport 11th edition Janet & Cheddi Jagan Windball Cricket champion trophy Region 10 Linden organised by Sport Officer A. Munroe, played at Batofago Ground, Canvas City continued with Mackenzie High School making a clean sweep of the titles.
In the Janet Jagan girls finals:- New Silver City Secondary batted first and only managed to score 35-2. Mackenzie High School replied with 36-0.
In the Cheddi Jagan boys finals:- Linden Foundation Secondary after been invited to bat first made 57-1, with Joseph Hall scoring 54.
Mackenzie High School reach their target, 59-3, with Rashawn Nero hitting 46.
Special thanks is being extended to the Region 10 Education Officer, the Secondary Officer, management of the ground, head teachers, teachers officials of AL Sport & Tour Promotions and all the students that participated.
Not forgetting the NSC and MCYS for making this programme a reality.
