(Kaieteur News) – Botofago Ground in Canvas City will be the venue as schools from Region 10 match their Cricket skills in the Ministry of Culture Youth & Sport National Sports Commission A. Munroe organized 11 edition Janet & Cheddi Jagan Overhand Windball Champions Trophy.
Today, Thursday May 21, play is set to start at 9 am at Linden.
Schools will be competing for a place in the National Quarterfinals scheduled for June where all the winners, both girls and boys, eyes are set on the prize of eight hundred thousand dollars, sponsored by the NSC and MCYS.
Schools that booked their place so far are for Girls; Charity Secondary, Bartica Secondary and Saint Stanislaus College, while for Boys are; 2025 champions Abrams Zuil Secondary, Three Miles Secondary, & Saint Stanislaus College.
Other regions still to be completes are Regions 3, 4, 5 & 6.
