Kaieteur Sports – The National Draughts Association will hold its Annual National Independence Draughts Competition on Sunday May 24th 2026 at the Transport Sports Club Pavillion, Thomas Lands Georgetown.
Trophy Stall Bourda Market would be the main Sponsorship of the competition. Mr. Ramesh Sunich (Proprietor) has always been on board with support in these National and significant events. As Guyana celebrates its 60th Independence Anniversary, the National Draughts always contributes in highlighting these occasions.
The game is scheduled to start at 11.00am sharp with registration beginning at 10.30am. Registration fees remained at $1,000 per player. The games would be contested on the 8×8 boards with a full round Robin system.
