Kaieteur Sports – The stage is set for a blockbuster finale in the 2026 Commissioner of Police T20 Cup, when action gets underway tomorrow, Thursday April 29 from 13:00h at the Police Sports Club Ground.
After inclement weather forced the final round of the tournament to be rescheduled, defending champions Headquarters will now face last year’s runners-up and finalists again this year, with the GPF Officers.
This encounter will be somewhat of a return grudge match and a high-octane battle with huge implications involved for both teams, who are ultimately gunning for this year’s championship.
Meanwhile, in the 3rd Place Play-Off, a keenly contested battle between Region 3 and Region 6 starting at 9:00am will also headline Thursday’s final round; with their being the ideal appetizer ahead of the main course between Headquarters and the Officers.
