Kaieteur Sports – The Cricket West Indies Masters Association (CWIMA) has announced the West Indies Over-60s squad selected to participate in the IMC Over-60s World Cup, which will be held in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, from August 9–23, 2026.
The tournament will bring together some of the finest Over-60s cricketers from around the world and promises to showcase the high standard of Masters cricket that continues to grow internationally.
The West Indies squad features a blend of experienced players who have represented their countries, regions, clubs, and previous West Indies Masters teams in international competition.
The team will proudly represent the rich cricketing traditions of the Caribbean while competing against the world’s top Over-60s sides.

Speaking on behalf of CWIMA, Secretary Roy Singh expressed confidence in the selected squad and excitement about the upcoming tournament.
“Canada 2026 presents an exciting opportunity for the West Indies Masters to compete against the best Over-60s teams in the world. With Canada being home to a strong Caribbean diaspora and passionate cricket community, we look forward to representing West Indies Masters cricket with pride, discipline, and competitiveness.
The players selected have demonstrated both their commitment to the game and their ability to compete at a high level. We are confident they will represent the West Indies exceptionally well both on and off the field.”
The team will begin preparations in the coming months as it builds toward the tournament. The World Cup will provide an opportunity not only to compete for international honors but also to celebrate the enduring spirit of cricket and the lifelong friendships that Masters cricket continues to foster around the world.
