Kaieteur Sports – At the Uitvlugt ground, Goed Fortuin won against Leonora a by 6 wickets. Batting First Leonora made 128 all out in 18.4 Overs. Michael Subadar scored 45 with Sixes fours and 3 Sixes, Shazam Ally supported with 17. Bowling for Goed Fortuin, Chaitram Rajroop was unplayable with figures of 5 for 5 in 3.4 overs including one maiden, Fawaz Esau supported with 2 for 11. Goed Fortuin responded with 129 for 4 in 17 overs. Aaron Shewpersaud continued his impressive form with 55 which included 10 fours. Damain Thomas supported with 43 two Sixes and 3 fours. Bowling For Leonora, Deopersaud Lalta took 2 for 38.
West Coast Warriors scored a 35 run win against La Grange. Batting First West Coast Warriors hit 154 for 8 in their 20 overs. Jermaine Scott made 36 (1×6 and 5 fours), Ellyan Whyte 36 (1 six and 2 fours) and Adrian Hinds 17. Bowling for La Grange, Manieram Singh took 2 for 22. La Grange All Stars never really challenged West Coast Warriors bowling, scoring 118 for 9 at the end of their allotment of overs. Manieram Singh returned with the bat to score 33 with 3 fours and 1six and Ganesh Singh 24. Bowling for West Coast Warriors, Ellyan Whyte took 3 for 20, Troy Benn 2 for 12 and Jason Holder 2 for16.
At West Meten Meer Zorg Community Center Ground VNS Cricket Club won over Leonora B. Batting first, Leonora B hit 154 all out from their 20 overs. Mahendra Singh scored 50 with 3 Sixes and one four, Elton grant 18. Bowling for VNS, Mohan Chaitram took 2 for 13, Mohamed Wazidali 3 for16, Satish Diaram 2 for 28 and Altaf Khan 2 for 32. VNS responded with 146 for 2 in 14.2 overs, Safraz Khan scored 40 with 3 Sixes and 1 four, Ricardo Joseph 35 with 3 sixes and one four, Mohan Chaitram 20 and Satish Diaram 20.
Zeelugt Cricket Club gained a walkover from West Demerara Renegade.
Windsor Forest Vipers scored a 27 runs win against VNS Cricket Club in the second match of the tournament. Batting first Windsor Forest Vipers made 130 for 6 in the allotted 20 overs. Dhaniram Azamudeen made 28, Asif Osman 24, Abraheem Wazidali 21 and Sachin Balgobin 17. Bowling for VNS Mohan Chaitram took 2 for 26. VNS were all out for 103 in 18.2 overs. Ricardo Joseph scored 20. Bowling for Windsor Forest Vipers, Deenndyal Guyadeen grabbed 4 for 19 in 3.2 overs and Mohamed Bacchus 3 for 14 from his 4 overs bowled well to see the team to victory.
Ushadavera Balgobin scored an entertaining 120 against the host West Meten Meer Zorg. Batting first Windsor Forest Center Team Score 201 for 9 in the 20 overs. Balgobin 120 (with 12 Sixes and 6 fours), Killon Tracy 37 (5 fours and one six). Bowling for West Meten Meer Zorg Joshua Kushendyal took 4 for 24 from his 4 overs, Randy Lindore 2 for 30.
The host, badly missing Pameshwar Ram due to Demerara under19 duties, replied with a modest 82 all out from 16 overs. Jermaine Maxwell 16 and Jamal Gomes 15 were the only two batsmen to reach double figures. Bowling for Windsor Center team, Parmanand Suknanan took 2 for 1from one over, Kishaun Tracy 2 for 9, Lalta Suknanan 2 for 11 and Raylex Payne 2 for 38.
Region 3 Police gained a walkover from Cornelia Ida (CI).
