Teen hospitalised after brutal beating by group of 6

(Kaieteur News) – A 14-year-old boy is hospitalised after he was allegedly attacked by a group of six males on Thursday afternoon in Georgetown.
According to the Guyana Police Force (GPF), the Kitty, Georgetown student was assaulted by the group, who reportedly dealt him several kicks and cuffs about his body.
A video of the incident has since surfaced and is circulating on social media.
As a result of the assault, the teen was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation, where he remains admitted receiving medical attention.
Police have since arrested a 17-year-old male of Durban Street, Wortmanville, Georgetown, who is suspected to have been involved in the attack. Investigations are ongoing.
