Kaieteur Sports – The West Indies senior men’s cricket team will embark on a packed overseas schedule to conclude 2025, with high-profile series across Asia and Oceania following a blockbuster summer at home against Australia and Pakistan.
The Men in Maroon will play 22 international matches across all formats between September and December, highlighted by a historic bilateral T20I series against Nepal in Sharjah – the first-ever meeting between the two nations. That series begins on September 27 and runs until September 30.
The team will then shift focus to the longer format, starting their second assignment in the 2025–2027 ICC World Test Championship cycle with a much-anticipated tour of India.
It will mark the West Indies’ first Test visit to the subcontinent since 2018. Matches are scheduled at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad (October 2–6) and the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi (October 10–14).
Following India, the Caribbean side heads to Bangladesh for a limited-overs series featuring three ODIs and three T20Is from October 18 to November 1, with venues to be confirmed.
The calendar then climaxes with a demanding all-format tour of New Zealand from November 5 to December 22. The series includes five T20Is, three ODIs, and three Test matches, spread across Auckland, Nelson, Dunedin, Christchurch, Napier, Hamilton, Wellington, and Mount Maunganui.
The complete schedule is as follows:
Cricket West Indies (CWI) confirmed that the squads for the Nepal and India series will be named shortly.
With four consecutive overseas tours lined up, the West Indies will be tested across conditions and formats, as they look to build momentum heading into 2026.
