Albion Community Centre advance to final of Singh Brothers Contracting Service/BCB U13 competition, defeating Cotton Tree Cricket Club
Kaieteur Sports – Albion Community Centre Cricket Club defeated Cotton Tree Cricket Club in their semifinal engagement to advance to the final of the Singh’s Brothers Contracting Service/BCB U13 cricket competition being played in Berbice.
In the game which was played on Sunday at the Cotton Tree, the host batted first and was bowled out for 72 with T. Dhanai scoring 19.
Bowling for Albion, Sahid Gajnabi and Aryan Ali picked up three wickets each.
In reply Albion raced to 74 for one with Gajnabi returning to score an unbeaten 31.
The final between Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club and Albion ‘A’ will be played on Wednesday 27th August, 2025 at Rose Hall Town ground from 10am.
The RHTYSC team had earlier defeated Tucber Park Cricket Club in a close encounter.
