Kaieteur Sports– Honorary President and Matriarch of the respected Kennard Memorial Turf Club (KMTC) Mrs. Chand Kennard along with the board of management, the executive and members are saying thanks.
The gratitude is being expressed due to the overwhelming support the Club received in making its recently concluded Emancipation horserace meet a success.
The club takes the opportunity to say a big thank you to all contributors including sponsors and supporters and members of the horseracing fraternity for their tremendous support.
Special commendation is being extended to among others -The Trophy Stall, Colin Elcock Delmur Company Limited, Mike Pharmacy, Muneshwar Company Limited, Survival Supermarket, Patsan Trading Establishment, The J Supermarket David Persaud Investments, The Majeed Family, Amco Construction Company, Blue Seenarine, Rohan Auto Sales, Devanand Sawh Mechanical Work Shop and Joe Jagmohan.
Also receiving commendation was the Guyana Police Force contingent led by Deputy Superintendent Michael Newland.
According to Mrs. Kennard, despite the odds the KMTC remains one of the premiere horseracing venues in the country. It is known for staging top-notch horserace meets. Most of their meets are incident free.
