Action packed day of racing anticipated for Kennard Memorial Turf Club Emancipation Horse Race meet

Kaieteur Sports – With just a day to go the authorities of the Kennard Memorial Turf Club (KMTC) is anticipating an action-packed day of racing. The Emancipation horse race meet is set for this Sunday 3rd August at the club’s Bush Lot Farm, Corentyne Berbice racetrack.
With over $5M up for grabs in the six-race event, there are over 45 horses entered to take part in the days event. With almost all the gates full, a riveting day of racing is anticipated.
A pulsating matchup is anticipated in the feature E2 and lower event over one-mile.
All the top runners in that division has been entered. The list reads Beckham James, Morning Colours, Wild Texas Tom, El Tarzan, Creemore, Full Liberty, Principe Joaquim, Full Force and Stormy Victory will be looking to storm to victory as they battle for the $500,000 winners’ money and trophy available.
All the other races have impressive lineups.
The races are the H and Lower match over seven furlongs for a winning take of $400,000 and trophy.

The race for animals I3 and lower over five furlongs for a top prize of $300,000 and trophy.
Excitement is anticipated in the Guyana Bred two years event over 5 furlongs for the first prize of $300,000 and trophy.
Animals in the L class open category also has a top prize of $300,000 and trophy available over 6 furlongs.
A full gate is expected to battle in the J class and lower six furlongs event. The pole position take is also $300,000 and trophy.
Outstanding performers will receive accolades compliments of the Trophy Stall Company.
The days event will be held using the rules of the KMTC.
The venue is in good condition and a number of sponsors are on board for the days meet.
During the week a number of trophies were handed over to Honorary President and Matriarch Mrs. Chand Kennard and her son who will be coordinating the days event.
