Kaieteur News – Elegance Jewellery and Pawn Shop has thrown their support for this year’s Prime Minister’s Softball Cup which gets cracking today in Georgetown.
The undisclosed sponsor-cheque was handed over yesterday at Regal Stationery and Computer Centre in Campbellville.
The three-day softball extravaganza will be hosted by the Georgetown Softball Cricket League (GSCL) Inc. and in collaboration with the Office of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

Twenty-six teams are slated to participate in three male categories and a female one.
President of the GSCL Inc. Ian John was on hand to receive the cheque and he immediately expressed his gratitude to Richie Maniram, General Manager of the Elegance Jewellery and Pawn Shop business entity.
John stated that they have been with the Cup since its inauguration in 2017 and once again proud to have them on board.
Muniram also took the opportunity to say that Elegance Jewellery and Pawn Shop is indeed delighted to make a contribution once more and wished the mega softball tournament great success.
He further related that Elegance Jewellery and Pawn Shop will continue to offer their support because the game always brings a lot of unity and camaraderie.
