Team Guyana won the AL Sport and Tour Promotions franchise schoolgirls Windball cricket competition played in memory of Edward Cobenna by defeating Team Barbados in the final.
Batting first in the final, Barbados managed 89-1 with Indira Amardeo scoring 50. Team Guyana replied with 96-1; Donna Lowe made 42 and Georgina Butters 34.
Others games played, Team Trinidad scored 95-1. Kozieya Phillips made 36, Naoime Daniels 24 and Naomi Barkoye 23. Team Guyana made 96-2 in reply. G. Butters got 44 and D. Lowe 34.
Team Trinidad managed 89-3. N. Barkoye hit 49. Team Barbados responded wioth 92-2. I. Amardeo made 44.
Team Jamaica scored 58-2 with Miracle Sinclaire getting 16. Team Guyana replied with 63 without loss. D. Lowe led with 42 and G. Butters 16.
Team Guyana posted 94-1. D. Lowe made 38 and Georgina Butters 32. Team Trinidad scored 98 with out loss. K. Phillips and N. Barkoye got 38 apiece.
Team Jamaica mustered 20-5. Kelly Dyal had 2-16. Team Barbados responded with 24 without loss. I. Amardeo made 20. This Inaugural Programme was organised by Sport Officer Alistair Munroe.
