Don’t worry bout yesterday, don’t think bout tomorrow

Is two days in de week Guyana shouldn’t worry about. And Guyanese people like fuh worry, but dem two days should be kept free from fear and worry.
Right now Exxon got Guyanese worrying about yesterday
Yesterday was full of mistakes, faults and blunders, aches and pains. De biggest mistake was to sign that oil contract wid de scamps.
Dem boys seh that was a blunder that is causing aches and pains on each Guyanese, and this will be so for the years to come.
Yesterday has passed, forever beyond our control. All de money in the world cannot bring back yesterday. We cannot erase a single word we’ve said yesterday. That is gone!
But we can correct what we placed on paper yesterday. Exxon would like Guyana to believe that it can’t undo a single act we performed. But oil experts wha dem boys talk to seh dem lie.
De other day people shouldn’t worry about is tomorrow, with its promises and its burdens. Tomorrow is beyond our control.
Tomorrow when de Kimba-Lee gyal putting out another misleading and insulting ad to defend Exxon’s skullduggery, she must remember that de Man above gun deal wid she wicked deeds.
Tomorrow de sun gun rise either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds – but it will rise. And until it does, nobody got a stake in tomorrow. It ain’t born yet. Kimba-Lee must take note of that.
But dem boys want people to know that Exxon should worry about tomorrow and dem is de only people to worry about tomorrow.
This lef only one day – today. Anybody can fight the battles of just one day. Is only when we add the burdens of yesterday and tomorrow that we break down.
Is not the experience of today that drives people mad – it is the remorse of bitterness for something which happened yesterday, and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.
Let us, therefore, live one day at a time!
Talk half and remember tomorrow ain’t nutten to worry about.
