Bishop’s High School and David Rose Secondary registered victories when the Forbes Burnham foundation, National Sports Commission, AL Sport and Tour Promotions 27 Annual Windball Cricket Champions Trophy continued recently.
Playing in the male division, School of the Nations batted first and scored 90-2 off their 5 overs, Christopher Baljit slammed 67 ( 9x6s) and Darius Andrews made 20. The Bishop High School responded with 91 without loss. Makayah Smith got 41 and S. Chatram 29.
Queenstown Secondary took first strike and managed 92 without loss. Jeffrey Blair struck 53 and Jonathan Bacchus 25. David Rose Secondary replied with 99-2; Tuen Hicks stroked 68 (10x6s).
Camille’s Institute for Business and Science Studies posted 128 without loss; Alex Arinda scored 72 and John Pilay 42. Diamond Secondary responded with 127-4, Mark Fredericks made 57, Akeem Hendricks 37 and Bashram Bissoon 16.
In the female division, Kuru Kuru Cooperative College scored 97-2; Aiesha Carmichael got 38 and Jenecia Primo 34. Queenstown Secondary mustered 66 without loss in response; Charmaine Wattick scored 43 and Kellisa Cozier 26.
Charlestown Government Secondary School managed 84 without loss with Donna Lowe scoring 47 and Makayla Mc Rae 37. Lodge Secondary made 66-6 in reply. Chrystal Grant had 2-11, McRae 2-18 and Lowe 1-1.
Brickdam Secondary made 46-1; Glenius Stephens got 30. Cummings Lodge Secondary responded with 52 without loss. Sarah Amin made 22 and Cassay Charles 20.
Camille’s Institute for Business and Science Studies after been invited to bat made 138-0, Alicia Davidson scored 69 (10x6s) and Angel Young 60 (7x6s).
Diamond Secondary responded with 56-5; Whitney Bazilio got 20; Davidson claimed 3-26 and Francine Mohar 1-1.
Soesdyke Secondary managed 59-2 off 3 overs with Ashanti Stephenson scoring 20. Diamond Secondary replied with 60 – 1, Whitney Brazilio scored 26.
