The Bartica Football Association (BFA) leg of the GFF/Pele Alumini Frank Watson U15 Intra Association League kicked off on Saturday last at the Bartica Secondary School ground with two matches.
Potaro Strikers wasted little time in claiming full points from Beacons in the first match of the league romping to an 8-2 win. They were led to victory by national Under-15 player Kevin Reddy who blasted the nets in the 15th, 19th, 40th, 56th and 61st minutes.
Kyle Caesar in the 24th minute and Kevon Hendricks in the 47th minute netted for Beacon in a losing cause.
Rising Stars were in equally dismissive mood when they took on Lazio in the feature match which they won by a huge 10-0 margin. Rocking the nets for the winners were Keenan Harper in the 2nd, 11th, 28th, 41st and 65th minutes.
Ian Gomes was on target in the 19th, 21st and 34th minutes, while there were one each for Tyrese Gomes in the 23rd and Marcus McKenzie in the 48th minute.
