Playing at the No#5 ground on the West Coast of Berbice Saturday, play in the Digicel National Schools Football tournament continued after a one week break.
Bush Lot Secondary were among the winners of the day beating Mahaicony Secondary in a closely fought contest 3-2. Novar Secondary then put 5 unanswered goals past Fort Wellington.
Across at the Leonora Facility on the West Coast of Demerara play in the tournament also continued. The contests opened with a 1-1 stalemate between Vreed-en-Hoop and Patentia. Uitvlugt romped to a 2-0 triumph over Stewartville, while Leonora hammered Goed Fortuin 6-1 and Windsor Forest brushed aside Zeeburg 5-1.
