The annual G Square Cavaliers Sports Club T20 tournament is
set to commence today in Belle Plaine, Wakenaam with six teams battling for supremacy.
In the opening fixture, Sans Souci Jaguars will take on Maria’s Pleasure at 09:00 hrs, G Square Cavaliers will play Zeelandia at 12:05 hrs and at 15:10 hrs Sans Souci will battle Noitgedacht SC. The winners will go through to the play offs tomorrow.
The club will also be hosting a volleyball and dominoes competition simultaneously.
Among the players expected to feature are Wayne Obsourne and Roopnarine Persaud of Sans Souci, Zameer Zaman and Safraz Mohamed of Sans Souci Jaguars, Neil Ramalho and Deonarine Persaud of Noitgedacht SC, Jaggernauth Manbodh and Chandrika Ragnauth of G Square Cavaliers, Navishaul Pooran and Ricardo Adams of Zeelandia and Kennard Lewis and Marsh Singh of Maria’s Pleasure.
